How Manny or Floyd can be ''The Greatest'' ever!!?

I was just asking myself this question? In term of ATG, many people are placing Manny over Floyd which is completely understandable(I do too, for now).

But is Sugar Ray Robinson status as the greatest ever is cementated?? How can Manny become the greatest ever, if he can beat Floyd, I can't find another opponent who might help him raise his legacy.....

For Floyd, I think he should beat Pacquiao, and after, he could make 3-4 other fights against top fighters to raise his ATG status... but can he be the greatest ever, if so, how can he become THE BEST???

    Thanks for your opinion guys

Neither fighter can become the G.O.A.T unless they go up to the HW division and beat Wlad.

You are plain ******, I mean is it possible that an active boxer can become the G.O.A.T, because I always see people talking about how he was so good and everything that it seems that it's impossible for someone to achieve what he has done.

That's why I feel that Pac or Floyd will have to beat an heavyweight champion to be number 1 ATG lol

I completely disagree with you, Mosley is a very good boxer, but I can't agree that you place a guy who lost to Forrest twice, Wright twice and Cotto and who struggled against a shot Mayorga over two of the very two greatest of our era.

i think it is too late for mayweather. he won't take on 3-4 risky fights his all career let alone in a row.

Manny should beat Floyd, then beat him again in the rematch and unify the WW division. And same for Floyd

as long as old cranky boxing historians are alive a dictating boxing history, Mayweather or Pacquiao could beat the brakes off of Valuev & Klitchko without evening sniffing the GOAT position. It takes decades for these opinions to change... thirty years from now, who really knows?

That's exactly my mentality, even if we can't really tell if the actual fighters that SRR fought were over-hyped bums or guys with a lousy chin, we don't know a lot of info on fighters of his generation.
