Does The Mayweather-Pacquiao Winner Have A 147 Lineal Claim?

I think the winner of this bout has a claim at the lineal championship and here's my reasons why...

    - Floyd was the last lineal champ at 147 and never lost the title in a bout
    - Many people think Cotto's lose to Margarito is tarnished and Pac destroyed Cotto
    - Mosley lost to Cotto
    - Many people have Pacquiao ranked at #1 at welterweight (147) after last Saturday

I'd like it to be on the line

the winner of this fight will be ranked p4p # 1 in the world.....that's bigger, IMO.

**** the lineal title. like i posted yesterday, floyd fought baldomir for that, and gets ****ted on still for taking that fight.

yeah but Floyd gets ****ted on for anything he does... When he beats Pacquiao people will say, "Floyd fought a boring fight... He was scared to go head up with Pacquiao"... "He was running"... But if there's any titles to care about it P4P and the ring belt

no lineal claim i don't think.

when floyd retired lineage was broken.

right now #1 and #2 at 147 is mosley and pacquiao.

if they fight , the ring/lineal title will be on the line.

          .
If Mayweather would of taken the Mosley fight instead of waiting on Manny that would of been for the lineal belt... So why doesnt Pac/May match up be for the ring belt as well when ring has Manny ranked above Shane? That makes no sense to me

Floyd vs. Mosley = Lineal title
Manny vs. Mosley = Lineal title
Floyd vs. Manny = No Lineal Title

          Makes no sense
