Dayum after what I saw Saturday, I highly doubt Margarito used Loaded gloves.
Those were really hard punches marg was landing and they accumulate, Just like pacmans punches acumulated right trough miguel's defense. Both Marg and Pac punch from weird angles and its hard to see and predict were they will be coming from.

I recall a comment made by Miguel Cotto's Father about what kind of punches
would leave a mans face all busted and bloody? He was refering to Loaded gloves by Margarito obviously, so does that mean Pacman also had loaded gloves or used steroids? I mean the resutl was exactly the same if not worse.


bottom line is Miguel was getting hit hard since rd.2 and and he quit in rd.11
Marg is a high volume puncher and landed more punches on miguel that pacman,
so MARGARITO is INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY! So Bring Margarito VS Cotto 2 for everyones sake, especially for miguel and his father.

I disagree he may not be marketable to some but most will want to see a rematch between he and Cotto. May be the only fight people want to see him in right away. Cotto may say what he said right now because he just came off a loss but to get back in there and give a man a beating who wronged you there is no better feeling. I agree with this you look at the last 7 fights for Cotto there was little to no rest. Taking major punishment in the 2 fights were he lost. In three wins against Judah, Mosley and Clottey he went the full 12 two times in give and take matches and 11 in a hard fought bout against Judah. All this in less than a 3 year span. He fought 3 former lineal Champions Judah, Mosley, and Pacquiao. The man may be 29 but he has a lot of mileage. he defintely needs a rest or a couple of easy fights....Lefty

Cotto needs a nice, long break from the sport right now. And the only circumstances under which he should have a rematch with Margarito is if he drops even lower on the rung and has no better options.
