The proof then- Manny only defeated fighters in decline.

Floyd does the same thing, Didn't he just call Pac one dimensional?
No ones mad at you. It's just your opinion.
Ever wonder why he wanted Cotto. Does Cotto vs. Clottey ring a bell? Before Pacquiao vs. Cotto happened, I said Cotto was ruined mentally. You need mental strength to fight at an elite level. Cotto's mental strength was so weak, he honestly believed that he couldn't hurt Pacquiao and simply stopped trying. Hours after the fight, Pacquiao revealed that Cotto was indeed a hard puncher and hurt him, too bad Cotto couldn't see it.

Seriously, you guys are showing ZERO class by trying to make up all these excuses.

Cotto had 4 months to drop weight properly which he did and he and his camp said it. He looked strong, not weight drained and had tw solid performances in his two previous fights, one against a top level fighter in Clottey.

Just give Pac his due, he's better than Cotto, he's an ATG and all these excuse threads are sad attempts to discredit him in some way or another.

Pacquiao is the best fighter of our generation and it isn't even close. What happens when/if he beats Mayweather? You gonna say Mayweather was shot as well? He was too old, he had too much of a layoff?

Get over it....accept the defeat like men.

Who cares whats on the internet? I don't think Manny is one dimensional. You don't. Isn't that enough?

I don't give red k because someones favorite fighter isn't my favorite fighter, or do childish **** like call someone names. I am basically calling Freddie Roach to ask for his exact statements. Simple as that. He said them, lets now examine them. They count.

JudeTheObscure isn't making excuses on Pacquiao's wins. He is simply talking about Roach.

a floydfan tries to diminish cotto's abilities, in turn diminish pac's win so they'd feel good that floyd fighting cotto was just a waste of time.

whats ******ed is they **** on whatever freddie says pre fight then in hindsight suddenly believes them like gospels.

            LOL

Thank you! I tried to stress that ****, too.

It shows the fervent bias and mob mentality these cats have, to even say things like I'm showing hate for Manny, etc. etc. It's like, can you even read?? No wonder noone takes boxing fans seriously- they act like f**king children, man. You can't even have a respectful debate/conversation without name calling and so forth. I guarantee noone would act like this face to face if we all met in line before going to see a live fight.

Again.. how can you speak for other people? What do you know?

I am a floyd fan.. where did I try to diminish Cotto's ability? What did *I* say about Cotto?

I'm calling you out- show me the proof for what you say. You Can't.

I don't **** on what Freddie says and I don't say its the gospel, either. I just discovered his pre-fight comments and I think its a valid point to discuss, is all.

Not just with Freddie. if ANY fighter's trainer said that, I would think it is something to be discussed!

This is from BEFORE the fight with Cotto. Roach says Cotto is damaged goods.

Therefore, ANY victory over him is less impressive. How could it be otherwise? Your opponent was "damaged".

Oscar "couldn't pull the trigger". Hatton "can't make weight".

                  Etc. Etc.

Freddie has basically explained before each of Manny's last three fights that each rival was washed up, in decline, or recovering. Therefore, he established beforehand Manny couldn't have a good night. There was a 'catch'.

Don't get mad at me. Freddie said it.

Floyd meanwhile, defeated an Oscar and a Hatton in their primes.

                  Making his victories more impressive.

ANY time you fight a guy, whether it be in the ring, or on the street (I realize neither happens to 90% of the tough guys on here- playing Nintendo Wii doesn't count) and someone says the guy you beat was "damaged goods" or "can't pull the trigger" in a fight- YOU know it automatically dilutes any victory you got. You don't look tough or impressive, you look weak for beating up a guy who was in bad health.

So why is it different in this case?
