Why is Pacquiao's english still bad?

I mean I can understand him so it isn't terrible but since he's been in wildcard gym for years with his main trainer speaking English you would have thought he'd pick it up faster? I mean Marquez talks really smoothly in English and he must have learnt it within the span of a year because he never used to talk any.

He seems to talk not that well after fights which is understandable, in regular interviews he speaks quite well I think, even imitating a Scottish accent once which shows advanced understanding of other accents within the language.

i dont think its that bad, and for the comparison with marquez, some people are just more adept at learning new languages than others

his english is always terrible in post fight interviews... probably because he is tired and struggles to concentrate ... same goes for marquez he doesnt even attempt it post fight
