He is loved by his people and pretty connected with the government of his country.

He can basically fight anybody and make money

Really what does the fight against mayweather offer?

No, he wouldn't. just like Frazier wasn't considered the best, he had to fight Ali. SRL had to fight Hagler. Manny wasn't considered the best or #1, but 2 yrs. it takes more than 2 yrs to cement yourself as the best fighter of this era and it's even harder to make that claim when you have got whooped on by 2 fighters in last 5 yrs or so.
