          Tszyu issues stark Hatton warning

IBF light welterweight champion Kostya Tszyu has warned June rival Ricky Hatton that he has never trained harder for a title defence.
"This fight has motivated me to train harder than I ever have before," said the Russia-born Australian, 35.

"Hatton is a very good fighter. He wants something that has belonged to me for years, but I have the hunger, too.

"He will give me a tremendous physical challenge, but I'll be ready. I'll have to be smart because Hatton is strong."

British boxer Hatton is looking to win the 4 June bout on the inside.

"As strong as Tszyu is, he is not an exceptional in-fighter," said the 27-year-old.

"So, if I move in quick and throw punches, I will have some success.

I will deliver volumes of combinations to the head and body, and he will not be able to push me around.

"My danger zone is going to be where Tszyu is in the range to explode one of his big right hands.

"I have a lot of respect for his right and I do not want to see how strong it is."
He's right. He'll be vulnerable coming in but he'll also be absorbing big Tszyu body blows while he's covering his h3ead.

Your'll have to wait until Calzaghe beats Lacy for that

trust me, take 5000.00 out of the bank, bet on tszyu, and thank me later.

....Hey slip, that foreman stuff in your sig is great. The arm punch to Cooney shows just how powerful foreman was when standing flat footed and it also shows how pathetic Cooney became after his loss to Holmes. When did Atlas shove Foreman and what happened after the shove? Somehow I don't remember that.

Tszyu should be victorious all his experience and power should be decisive. Nonetheless, Hatton is good and likeable, plus the underdog, I've always like the underdog. We will see soon.

if hattons lack of top notch oppoenents is a disadvantage then so is nigh on 2.5 years with only 3 rounds under your belt.

                      hatton ud.
I agree man... I think The Mitchell fight flattered Tszyu. Mitchell was starting to look like a shot fighter about a year before when he got a little bit of a gift decsion against Lovemore Ndou.

I think the best way to judge the competion Tszyu's gonna face is to take a look at Mitchell fighting Stewert, and then Hatton fighting Stewert about 6 months later.

People say that Stewert was just a Mitchell left over?... But it's not like Mitchell REALLY REALLY punished Stewert.

If you go to http://www.frankwarren.tv and go down to FWTV section, there are a load of fight vids. Click on the Hatton -v- Stewert fight, (It's free at the moment!)
