No disrespect to Berto... but I really think this is a mismatch. Berto is not faster than Mosley, he's not smarter than Mosley, he's not as strong, doesnt have the chin of Mosley and he doesnt have the power.

Between 2 similar boxers... it's really a foregone conclusion.

Now on point... Mosley should have risked the layoff and went straight to Pac.

Negotiations will last for about a week as both parties will settle in for more or less 60-40 and u can have the fight at either may or june.

In the meantime all Mosley has to do is stay in shape, which he always does anyway.

    Wrong move from Mosley.

    Epic fail from GBP.
i wouldnt say cotto had these either over shane, all depends what version of mosley, the guy from the marg fight or the one that likes to just throw one shot at a time and hope this enough to get by on

And with Pac winning, he's the next guy to fight Pac... forget all the BS talk about JMM, JMM is only 2nd fiddle to Mosley if ever negotiations fall apart... which it wont.

Coz Mosley has been clamoring for a fight with Pac.

And Pac is more than willing to give him that fight.

Wtf was he thinking when he signed for a fight with Berto when he could very well be the next in line for the Pac lottery.

GBP should be blamed for this bad matchup.

No disrespect to Berto of course.
maybe mosley already knows he cant get a pac fight..... mayweather interview is somewhat already planned...... gbp is floyd promoter... so mosley knows whats happening

        R u ******?

Pac has gone on record... ON NATIONAL FCKIN TELEVISION that he's willing to fight Mosley.

It's a fact Pac ducks nobody.

Mosley tried to pre-empt negotiations by posturing up. However the frontrunner for the fight was Cotto.

        The point is simple.

Had he waited just a bit more... Mosley is sure as **** as the next opponent of Pac.

Btw... I prefer Mosley as Pac's next opponent... Mosley is gonna bring the hurt to Pac and the fact that Mosley is the top WW which will even enhance Pac's legacy shud he win.

He said he was willing to fight Mosley at 142lbs back then...would he fight Mosley at 147 now?

Either way, it shouldn't matter, Mosley been sitting on his ass for way too long and needs a fight ASAP. Berto is a good fight from him and Pacman has bigger fish to try and beat aka, this generations best fighter, Mayweather jr.

Mosley had to wait way to long by chasing Mayweather and Pac, i mean he has to work and pay the bills like everyone else, he waited long enough and decided he needed to face Berto. Honestly i don't see Pac facing anyone except Floyd next, Mosley probably feels the same so took Berto and hopefully gets the Floyd/Pac winner to unify (i can hope )

On a side note i have allways been a big fan of Mosley's but he killed his own hype not fighting again and wasting time after that Margaritto performance.

mosley did the right thing by fighting berto... he has had a long layoff... plus mosley can unify at WW, thus making his case as the next opponent for floyd or pac

Mosley did what he had to,he should have gotten Berto a long time ago though!!If Mosley beats Berto,he'd be unified, with more goodies to bring to the plate sometime next year!!If Pacman decides not to fight until June or July & Mosley gets those belts from Berto,if Pacman chooses to fight him, that's a unified undisputed welterweight champ, type of affair!!That could take boxing to a whole other level!!
