No disrespect to Berto... but I really think this is a mismatch. Berto is not faster than Mosley, he's not smarter than Mosley, he's not as strong, doesnt have the chin of Mosley and he doesnt have the power.

Between 2 similar boxers... it's really a foregone conclusion.

Now on point... Mosley should have risked the layoff and went straight to Pac.

Negotiations will last for about a week as both parties will settle in for more or less 60-40 and u can have the fight at either may or june.

In the meantime all Mosley has to do is stay in shape, which he always does anyway.

When he signed for a fight with Berto when he could have just waited on the results of Pac-Cotto fight.

Either way he's the frontrunner on getting the fight.

And with Pac winning, he's the next guy to fight Pac... forget all the BS talk about JMM, JMM is only 2nd fiddle to Mosley if ever negotiations fall apart... which it wont.

Either way, it shouldn't matter, Mosley been sitting on his ass for way too long and needs a fight ASAP. Berto is a good fight from him and Pacman has bigger fish to try and beat aka, this generations best fighter, Mayweather jr.

Mosley had to wait way to long by chasing Mayweather and Pac, i mean he has to work and pay the bills like everyone else, he waited long enough and decided he needed to face Berto. Honestly i don't see Pac facing anyone except Floyd next, Mosley probably feels the same so took Berto and hopefully gets the Floyd/Pac winner to unify (i can hope )

On a side note i have allways been a big fan of Mosley's but he killed his own hype not fighting again and wasting time after that Margaritto performance.
