I aint really a sparring partner if you know what i mean. i got great work and experience but i didnt change who i was to be like Cotto. Freddy brought me in because of my physical size and my left hook work. so i dont think i will be back in camp with manny as a sparring partner especially if manny is getting ready for Mayweather.

i love my filipino fans man. some of the best people i have met have been filipino boxing fans. i hope they all watch me saturday night

i hear ya...i wasnt tryin to imply you were...noone thought of Israel Vasquez as a sparring partner either but he was asked to help PAC back in the day..

but yea man...you're definitely on the radars of many pinoys...we'll keep a close eye on ya and look forward to your first world title

i hope i put on a good show for you saturday. i thought when the tournament was announced that kessler would be the guy to beat. i ranked them kessler, dirrell, abraham, froch, ward, taylor. i think the dirrell and froch fought went one way on european soil and would have went the other way over here. it is what it is i guess. i also think kessler will probably stop ward saturday night.

I don't particularly think it's a new idea to start a tournament like that. As it has been debated many times, and earlier we had other super competitors fighting in eras. Would you like these kinds of tournaments for upcomming stars like yourself to prepare you for a titlefight, or would you like to see these tournaments in other weightclass' and maybe participate yourself?

I don't know if it's too personally. But on the fightday/night before, what do you do to prepare yourself? Eating, running, shadowboxing, sleep during the day ect. I'm very interessted in this part.

I actually think these tournaments are great for the sport but would do more for the sport if they had all prospects like myself. take the best 16 welterweight prospects in the world with 20 or less fights and put them in a single elimination tourney. imagine how big of a draw 2 or 3 of those guys would be moving forward

after i weigh in i eat a good meal and hang out with my dad. i might watch a movie or play video games in my room. i try to stay up till midnight or 1 and then sleep in as long as i can. i might watch film on my guy if have some. but just pretty much relax.
