Hey Shawn. How was Pacquiao's speed when you sparred with him? Was it faster when you were up close in front of him or was it slower than it looks on tape?

mannys speed is definitely faster than what you think. his speed is short though and it makes it even faster. once i got used to his speed it was like another day but if you never see it in camp and just get in a ring with him on fight night it would be a bad adjustment

Shawn, Ive seen some interviews with you and your pops and you guys seem cool and he seems like a good trainer but how far do you think he can take you? Im always 50/50 on things like this. Sometimes I think fighters should stick with the guy that got them to the top. Alot of times the change to known trainers once they get big, lose that chemistry, and it effects them in the ring. Other times with guys, I think they should ditch there trainers, e****ally there fathers. I think Zab is mad talented but his dad is very limited as a trainer. Would you ever ditch your pops as a trainer? Also, if he saw you not progressing well, do you think he would tell you to move on or would you guys stick it out until you fix it?


PS- Tell your pops that he looks like 50 cent sometimes

If you can make it to WW then that definatly changes the game. I think its a big difference at your height between WW & MW. With that being said, WW may be a little bit overrated. I mean Pac & Floyd will be gone soon and so will Shane. Who knows what to now expect from guys like Cotto & Margarito. Clottey seems too big to stay there much longer and the SLW's seem to small to move up. Basicaly, by time youre ready for the big boys, there wont be any big money guys there to fight. Maybe you should go to 154 and stay there

my dad will always be with me but we train with a lot of different people all the time i learn from everyone

This will definatly make you more popular and way more fighters should do that because the fans would definatly support them then. Did you really give tickets to that one cat on here? Second, I just have a few questions for you...

1. How much credit do you give Roach for the Pac win? In other words, do you think Manny could have handled/beat Cotto without a great trainer like Roach?

2. I know this one came out of no where, but did you see the Cotto/Mosley fight? If so who did you give the fight too!?

3. Could you see Mosley loosing to Pac in a similar fashion that Cotto did!?
