    Danny williams was setup

i think they put danny against klitchco just so they could get rid of him because they knew he won the tyson fight by luck and plus he has nothing to bring to the sport

beating mke tyson was no preperation for fighting klitchko, he should of had a couple more fights with good top 15 boxers before fighting klitchko

I take it you like Danny Williams then? How many of his fights have you seen?

As for winning the Tyson fight "by luck"... he was already trading with Tyson before the leg (which I assume is what you're reffering to)... plus - while I don't necessarily agree with it - it was Williams's intelligent in-fighting and Tyson's unintelligent in-fighting that lead to the leg injury in the first place.

Fair credit to Danny... he should have tested himself against contemporary opposition before, because now people say he got lucky. I still say he could compete with the severely depleted Heavyweight division of today, with only people like Vitali, Tua and Toney really able to give him problems.

Let's see how Rahman does against Vitali for a better idea of his class. I have a feeling that if Rahman is dominated in the same way and goes down earlier, people may change their minds against Danny.

He WAS hopelessly outclassed against the 6'7 Vitali, though how many people of today's boxing world would have continually gone out and carried on fighting when they were taking such a painfully one-sided beating? Oscar Dela Hoya? Roy Jones? Oh... Mike Tyson?

Good stuff, and pretty much my own sentiments on it as well. Nobody can say Danny doesn't have a great chin and an assload of heart. And yep, he was trading with Tyson before Mike ever injured his knee, and took some of Tyson's best shots in round one without going down. Knee injury, no knee injury, Williams earned that win with his performance in the ring, not through Tyson's bad luck.

I'm also curious what's going to be said about Danny in the event Klitchko wades through the Rock like he did Kirk Johnson. I hope people will begin to give him the credit he deserves, and that they'll begin to credit Klitchko for being so dominant as well.

is not going down in the first rd against tyson proof of good chin?

Let's not underrate him either, though. That's what I'm getting at. About halfway through the Klitchko fight people were already calling him a bum, and while he's not someone I'd call all time great material, he's sure as hell not a bum.

Klitschko said he wanted to fight Williams because Vitali wanted to face Tyson his entire life. I'm not sure how it was setup? Do you mean it was rigged. No way was that fight rigged. Williams is a B type fighter and he did win the Tyson fight by luck. He was almost out in round one. Tyson needs to stop listening to Roach and go for an early KO, there is no point of him getting more rounds in fights. He needs to scare the **** out of his opponents like he used to in the past. Hopefully he will knockout McBride.
