It would really be a toss up fight in my opinion.At first, I thought that Floyd's speed and skill would dominate Manny.But after seeing the Cotto fight,I just don't know.Manny is a freak of nature.And think about it,what style fighters gave Floyd the most problems? One was the left handed Zab Judah who gave him all he could handle in the first 4 rounds and then wore down.Zab had speed and power in both hands and matched Floyd speed for speed.He even got a legit knockdown that the ref waived off.Manny has KO power in both hands as well as speed,plus he is a southpaw.The other fighter is De La Hoya who only lost by split decision.He to wore out in the later rounds.Oscar threw punches in bunches, crowded Floyd and used fast punches to throw him off.This is the same style that Manny has perfected over the years.The key to Floyd's victory over those 2 fighters were him depending on them to wear down later in the fight,which they did.But there is nothing about Manny's last 6 or 7 fights that indicate that he would tire against Floyd.If he brought the fight to Floyd and sustained it, it is not farfetched seeing him winning a decision.I guess the question would be if Floyd could hurt him or not.The old Floyd that used his jab alot and threw combinations would dominate Manny. But when was the last time you see him fight like that.This Floyd masterfully uses his defensive skills and pot shots his opponents one punch at a time.That style will not win him a decision against Manny. A cautious approach fighting Manny will give him his first loss.
