sturm went 12 rounds with a blown up 147 pounder..a real middleweight would have dropped de la hoya via taylor hopkins

Sturm couldnt hurt a 140 pound fighter, whats so special about that. This man has 11 KO out of 23 wins thats the weakeast **** ive ever seen. I would understand not getting KO's but being busy like Kassim Ouma but Sturm isnt that. So why would sumone give this man a chance, he cant sell a ticket if his life depended on it. He hasnt beated anyone special except those Euro bums, whats the difference between him and the guys from Ahmed Kuddour from the Contender??

You have to give the guy some credit, it was really his first big fight. His opponent was one of the most known fighters in the world. I'd have to give the fight to De la Hoya just because he tried so much harder in the fight than Strum, but it seemed that a draw would have been the best decesion because neither fighter really took control of the fight.

funny post now tell me if this fight was so close why was it so high on everyones 2004 robbery of the year? like number 1 on there list...

let me ask you something, do you think you would have been happy with a draw for DLH vs Sturm and a clear win for sturm?
Sturm deserved a draw at the very least, no question.

not if hopkins keeps fighting others lmao, he should be fightign sturm now but he took taylor, hopkins jsut defended his wbc title agasint eastman now he is defending it again against taylor, and he's lucky trinidad is up there also so he can say tito was his mandatory.
