It was sort of sad to see. While I was rooting for Pacquiao, I'm a fan of Cotto as well, and I wanted him to give a better account of himself toward the end.

been watching cotto for a long time and it was sad but I am proud to be a cotto fan dude fought everybody. I will say this might not be accepted by a lot of cotto fans, but after the pac fight now I really don't think margarito cheated cause of the comparisons of cottos face. just my opinion

Manny had a great gameplan, knew all Cotto bad habits, and executed his game to perfection.

Cotto...well he doesnt have a trainer, no gameplan other than THINKING he was the stronger puncher and bigger man, not ready for Pac's movement, too slow on his feet to catch up, drops his left before the jab....on top of that, he had no plan B after realizing Manny was at least as strong as him and was not hurt by his punches. Didnt know what to do after the 4th.

The reason his confidence left suddenly was because when he was exchanging with Pac in the centre of the ring he got flattened with a punch he didnt see coming.

He knew he had to change tactics, otherwise he would have taken other punches that he couldnt see if he exchanged.
