Pacquiao was just named Top 20 ATG, why hasn't Mayweather been named an ATG yet?

In order to achieve what Manny has, Floyd needs to move up and fight bigger men like Williams, Dawson and Kessler, not smaller guys like JMM,

Floyd started at 130 and is a natural welterweight now. He couldn't even make 145 for his last fight.

Manny started at 106 and could still make 135 without a problem. He was fighting at 130 less than 2 years ago.

Floyd is a welterweight who fights lightweights, Manny is a lightweight who fights welterweights.

Because different standards are held when it comes to Floyd.

Because the same rules don't apply to Floyd.

Because Floyd doesn't deserve respect for any accomplishments, for any chance to speak post-interview.

Marquez is too little for Floyd, but Mosley isn't? Manny isn't?

No logic. Just hate and resentment. People have a sense of entitlement- they think, whether they realize it or not, that Floyd Mayweather Jr. owes them something. He doesn't. Noone is forcing you to buy Floyd's fights.

People react badly when they see "loud" or outspoken people. They think "that person is too uppity"- they want people to seem grateful to them, or at least non-threatening.

Why hasn't Roger Mayweather been nominated for at least a potential trainer of the year? He must be doing something right. But you know, he isn't a 'yes sir' kind of guy. He isn't non-threatening and polite.

Nothing against Manny, who is genuine in his general niceness. But he is certainly non-threatning. (not that he should be otherwise!) He is a very 'yes sir', no controversy kind of person.

People feel Manny gives them what they want- he doesn't argue, he appears subserviant, he is a quiet, non-threatning personality.

Mayweather, by contrast, is proud, loud, outgoing. People don't like that, in any facet of things.

Trust me- when Floyd beats Manny, he still wont get credit. He spoke very true words in the recent Sky Sports interview, that he was in a "no-win" situation. It's true.

It's beyond unprofessional to cut off a marquee fighter post-interview, especially when people paid to see him, not the interviewer. But Max Kellerman didn't like that Floyd refused his direct questions, so he cut him. The audacity of that is amazing. They would never do that to any other fighter.

I like Manny... but his interviews are ridiculous. Watch the post-fight interview. Manny's grasp of English is so low, he doesn't even directly answer Larry Merchant's questions. It's generic, kind of related-to-the-question, typical answers, the way a politician would do. I know that isnt what Manny is trying to do- but its how it is. "Ummm, well, I knew the fight would be tough.." "Uhhh, well, I knew he was good champion, we work hard", etc. etc. etc.

But thats who they want. Someone to fight and keep their mouth shut.

Floyd is punished just because people don't like he's laughing all the way to the bank. That he is too crafty to get hit. They just can't stand it. Thats ****ty motivation, basically.

But you can't change people's minds when they are already made up.

fantasy matchups don't count in the real world.

So his victories over Margarito, Cotto, Shane, Paul, Clottey, etc, will have to be voided out.

why is your post referring to the boxer's personality and interview skills?

being ATG refers to fighting ability, not outside attitude or interviews.

read the question one more time. you can do it

well, Floyd himself creates his own standard

he's not stepping up to what people are expecting him to do

Manny gives the people & the writers what a legend should do

because pac accomplishes things that floyd only talks about accomplishing.

              - pac fights like a warrior, floyd talks about fighting like a warrior

              - pac fought the best available WW, floyd talks about fighting the best WWs

              - pac stops his opponents, floyd talks about stopping his opponents.

"I'm the best boxer ever" - Floyd.

When you and little bitches like you claim him as the best ever,

its faqqots like you who create the standard you hate so much.

Its not our fault he can't live up to the myth that he created.

Notice how nobody ever said a thing about Floyd until he opened his mouth?

Well, he wanted the attention, he got it and what did he do with it when all the focus was on him?

He refused to make the fights the fans wanted to see.

Now quit your bitching and realize that the criticism is justified. Justified when Floyd claims boxing as his "hustle".

He doesn't care about his legacy,

                  why do you?
