Beating 2 of those guys and he should be #1 Welterweight.
that's the whole point... cotto shouldn't get a rematch based on the merits of the first fight, he must lobby for a rematch by recapturing the #1 spot at WW

yes... but cotto will want an east coast trainer... someone from miami preferably but the only one from miami is mcgirt.

He needs to stop bending foward; that diminishes his height and exposes him for uppercuts. He needs to work on the right hand, he should tie up his left arm for about a month and use his right. Listen, that stance has got to go because Pacquiao's punches come from under and Cotto couldn't see them due to his stance. That stance doesn't allow the opponent to work for their shots because you're pretty much always gonna be in reach. Factor in the stamina and he'll be good. But before I say all this, take 2 tune ups and try to rid the demons by beating Margarito in a rematch.

I'd like to see a rematch if Cotto hires Jack "double your ****ing jab!" Loew as a trainer.

As seriousness, Pac will be retired by the time Cotto rebuilds with a world-class trainer.

Yes but Corrales was stopped on having a very huge cut, the blood kept flowing. JLC vs. Corrales was very competitive for the most part.

another thing that i hate about Cotto is the way he tries to block.
Left hand down and right hand in front of his face. He could do that with slow opponents but many is too quick on his feet. Stamina in this fight was worst than ever. He trained to get faster but I think he lost power.

                  those were competitive fights.

the only round cotto won was the 1st which was a feel out round.

this is ****** to talk about a rematch.

pac might as well rematch david diaz.

I dont know. If Pac wins (I dont think he could, but if) he will stay in 147 and clean the division (Margo, Mosley). For not let any doubt of his legacy (I am more than sure that Roach will push him to do it).

A rematch -- no matter what the weight -- is ****** idea. Are you wanting Cotto to get permanently damaged? C'mon man, the guy shouldn't have to take a beating like that again.

Change the weight, Cotto's trainer, or anything you want, but Cotto will never be able to beat Pacquiao.
