You've made a strong case, MoneyM. I still don't understand why, if Manny is great, he doesn't fight at the welter weight limit but rather two pounds south.

I'm beginning to think Manny is unsure of victory against Mayweather since he doesn't want to mention him as his next opponent, but his fans do.

All I know is it'll be interesting to watch what happens when they both meet in the ring. Very interesting.

No wonder Roach has kept Manny away from RIGHT HANDED BOXERS since he last faced JMM!! ..this thread has completely shut down the *******s "southpaw" effort, god damn Manny just couldn't cope with the straight rights at all, he's gonna have hell when he faces Floyd and true boxing fans already know what's coming.

Your obvious loaded hating aside, Pac is going to get beat up. Floyd is going to tag him with lead rights all night long.

Freddie Roach was confused how Pacquiao walked through Barrera, yet went life and death with Morales... whom was considered slower and shop worn by the time Pacquiao got whooped by him. (who was coming off two losses to Barrera as the 3/1 underdog against Pacquiao)

Roach analyzed Pacquiao's strengths and weakness's, and realized he better avoid fighter like Morales or Marquez, and try to match him up with either complete bums or bigger versions of Barrera as he outgrew the lower weight divisions. This is why when Pacquaio faced C level right handed fighters such as Larios, Solis, and the like, they assumed Pacquiao "lost his warrior instinct" because Pacquiao really didn't perform all that great.

When the Marquez rematch was finally made, Pacquiao was billed as new and improved for the second time, but after Marquez out-boxed him again people started to question if Pac was "past his best". (giving no credit to JMM)

What Roach did next was clever, he had Pacquiao go up in weight and fight drained shot fighters who didn't posses any of offensive arsenal that would give Pacquiao any problems. Suddenly, "the old warrior" Pacquiao is back, better than ever, For the third time... Just as it was exposed in the Marquez rematch, Pacquiao really hasn't changed all that much, and his limited boxing ability will be exposed again as soon as he fights a fighter that is not tailor made for his strengths and weaknesses.

Roach admitted that he "takes the easy fights for now, and takes the challenge for the finale and big payday". This is why he's carefully protected Pacquiao, since his life and death SD match with JMM, and has recently given Mayweather Jr. the status as "The Ultimate Opponent".

That's one hell of a revelation if I ever saw one.

FOUR YEARS LATER and the "new and improved" Pacquiao still couldn't adjust...

Pacquiao fights the same 3 fighters (Oscar, Hatton, Cotto) in a row, bigger past prime & drained versions of Barrera (Pac's tailor made opponent), and people think he can still handle a well rounded complete boxer. LMAO!

Let's see how Morales and Marquez, the two guys who whooped Pacquiao and made him look like a joke, did when they fought slick boxers?

Now I know why Pacquiao ducked Raheem!

larios fought pacquiao almost a decade after the brutal knockout loss to vazquez.
