First of all, I'd like to say that Saturday's fight was awesome. I completely underestimated Manny - he cannot be denied!
On to my story.
So last night I was watching a show on TLC called "My Unique Family". It's about a family that suffers from ectrodactyly (webbed hand and feet, they resemble lobster claws). So I'm watching the family and I remember Jim Lampley's kids/ex wife have the same condition, so anyway the son is talking and his name comes up on the screen "Aaron Lampley"
so I'm like oh ****! could it really be? could it be Jim Lampley's family? Turned out it was his family. I didn't watch the whole show but the last scene I saw is when Jim took his son to an indoor go kart racing place. Jim was saying how his son has been adjusting to life and battling since the day he was born, he then went on to say how he's proud that his son was doing so well on the track, especially given the fact that he doesn't have fingers or an opposable thumb to get a good grip the steering wheel. He was cheering him on and stuff. Afterwards he was talking to the camera about his son's condition and the things he goes thru and was getting really emotional and cried. He said he gets real emotional because of what he son has to deal with plus that's his only boy, etc.
I thought it was really nice seeing that side of him, he seems like he cares a lot about his kids. Before someone mentions this, I have heard about him being a "wife beater" or whatever but he seems like a great father.
Just thought some of you would appreciate this, for those of you with short attention spans who are bored about anything not dealing with riding manny pacquiao's nuts - peep the usertitle.
