Yep. Margarito started beating him up by round 6 and on. Pacquiao knocked down Cotto twice in the first 4 rounds and by round 7 some people thought the fight should have been stopped including Cotto's own countryman Juanma Lopez.

Well IDK about all of that. Again, I think 9 times out of 10 the punches are just going to hurt more coming from a Southpaw because you dont see them coming alot of the time. Margarito never ever hit Cotto with a blind shot. He saw it all coming. Pac hits guys where they dont see the punch because he is a Southpaw and that **** hurts way more

It was sad to see in a way, Cotto is clearly a warrior, but when he started backpeddeling.... he just had no choice but to do that, he had no other options and it must have hurt him inside to have to do that.

I wished they let him finish, he deserved that much, If they were going to stop it, better to have done it earlier than let him almost make it.
