Would You Be Upset If Floyd Fought Salita Or...?

Roach said today that he might not want the fight until June and alot of people on here agreed with him. IDK how that works with Pac politicaly but I thought he wanted to have a fight in March for that.

Anyways, if the fight isnt until June, would you be upset if Floyd fought a guy like Salita in February or maybe fight someone over in England? Would he get ripped for that if they are still clearly setting up the Pac fight and he is just waiting for Pac? He cant fight Mosley because he already has a fight.

I wouldnt want him to do it strictly for my ******** purposes because right now and after every Pac fight, people think Pac will kill him. I know the ******** odds will be great and I think Floyd can be the underdog. However, everytime he fights then the odds change and people start acting like its an unfair fight

      Why would he fight Salita?

Salita is a 140lb'r and is going to be fighting Amir Khan for the WBA title next month in Newcastle.

If Floyd takes a tune-up but also agrees to fight Manny afterwards then I don't mind that at all. Manny probably deserves a bit of a holiday anyway.

So you as a "boxing fan" would be ok with his comeback consisting of 3 fights, 2 which were pretty much gimme's and one that would be difficult? seriously? this is your great hero?

If the fight is already set yeah I wouldn't mind at all. HOWEVER, if he doesn't fight Pac while fighting someone like that you will hear me on the front lines criticizing him.

Unlike you, I actually think Floyd is going to fight on. You are the one who acts like you think its Pac and then its over. Its not. Ive said it before and Ill say it again. I think Floyd has always wanted Mosley and still wants him. I think after Pac he is either going to go straight to Mosley or fight someone like Clottey 1st and then Mosley. I actually think he's even going to fight on after that

I dont think its about the opponent as much as it is about the star power. They were saying something about him fighting Salita in Yankee stadium. Again, Im not looking at it like him taking a big match. Im just talking about something to hold him over but with a guy who could also sell some tickets

you know damn well he isn't. You guys always talk like you have access to Floyd's calendar saying, "oh dont worry, floyd is going to do this, floyd is going to do that" and it never happens. Never. He makes you guy look like fools, but I applaud your loyalty. It reminds me of the white trash women who appear on Cops: "Oh, its not his fault. I aggravated him. He's really a nice guy"
