Lol that "interview" is old as hell, he said that after he beat Hatton (which is why his face and ear isn't busted up like it was after the Cotto fight) and Floyd hadn't even fought JMM by then, the fact is on Saturday he had a chance to say he wants to fight Floyd but ducked the question just as much as he ducked Raheem and Guzman at the lowers weights!! , people try and claim that Floyd did the same after he beat JMM but he was getting asked about TWO different fighters (Pac and Shane) not just one which is why he said "he'll talk to his people about what to do next", but even before Floyd faced JMM he said in the Brian Kenny interview "if pac wants it HE CAN GET IT TOO", so Floyd has made it clear already that he wants the fight.
So why are you ****tin on Pacquiao for responding to the postfight interview in the manner that he does in every fight??? "My job is to fight. I fight whoever my promoter puts in front of me" Pac's already made it clear he wants the fight too. But he doesnt mix the business and athletic sides of the sport. It's his promoter's job to negotiate with Floyd and if that's who Arum puts in front of Pac then so be it.

they try their hardest to find the most miniscule and meaningless crap, bump it up to bigger proportions than what it really is, and discredit the dude.

Kellerman: Would you like to fight Mosley
Floyd: Lemme talk to my advisers
Every boxing fan: He wasnt askin your advisers Floyd...he was askin YOU!!!

Because the lanes are clear for both fighters now, when Floyd was asked about Pac didn't Pac have a fight lined up with Cotto? so if Floyd said "i want Pac" and then Pac got beat then what? Pac had a chance to make a statement to the world and say "i'm the best and i want Floyd" but to me the guy looked nervous, and when you couple that with the fact that he's never faced a slick boxer in his whole career you start to wonder whether he really wants this fight, like Floyd said "it's like the world is FORCING him to make the fight".
I think PAC is too humble to give such a statement like that. But i don't doubt his willingness to fight Money, as we see on the Video.
PAC had a long night. He got a tweaked a bit too. I guess he just really needs a rest to clear his mind on what he'll do next. Also, as far as i know, local elections (campaigning?) is somewhere around March? (correct me if im wrong pinoys). Pac is running for a congressional seat.
Interview was conducted prior to the Mayweather/Marquez bout. Last night, Pacman was asked the same question, in front of his adoring fans, shouting 'We want Floyd'. What did he do? Why wasn't Pac as authoritative in his answer late night as this pre-Sept 19 video footage, which you pulled from out of the archives I might add? Both fighters have been facing the same opponents for going on 2 years and that isn't chance but by design. The Marquez/Mayweather was a preliminary fight to built up this match. Floyd did his job to help built this fight. All Manny has to do is say is, 'I want Floyd'. Funny thing is, this post does nothing but prove how much of a reality check Sept 19 was to Pac. Thanks for pointing that out.
