The thing about Cotto is that he elads his team. There's only so much you can do to learn and then you need others to watch and teach you. You really need to respect your trainer and that's where Cotto's downfall is. His uncle may have had lots of issues with him and it seems santiago is his lapdog.

Saying 145 jackass or whatever at a weigh in and doing mits with some samba music and holding the mits for someone as tall as paul williams for a midget like Pac is wrong, but also holding your hands like you're a *** does not consitute training.

Also Cotto needs to stop jumping in a pool and pulling down big boys shorts.

Anyway Cotto is a damn good fighter. He has skill and with the right opponent he can destroy people. His Krytonite is either plaster (probably) or P4P fighters that have speed/power and workrate.

He can learn a few good things with Roach or someone like Nazeem whom care for their fighters and give in good time.

Cotto said he'll keep Santiago/corner but he was cornered by cameras and his team was right there. He'll think it over and realize it's a mistake to keep them for big fight. They can stick around but he'll get an experienced trainer like Roach or Nacho.
