Right now Pacquiao reminds me of.....

Felix Trinidad after he demolished Vargas, Reid, and Joppy. The three of those guys felt they were the bigger men when they fought and stood in front of him when they fought him to prove it. After Tito beat Joppy he had that aura that no matter who was put in front of him. That is until he ran into Bernard Hopkins. Personally, I see Manny-Money playing out as a less one sided type replica of Hopkins-Trinidad. I am a fan of both fighters, but history tells us to pick the defense first fighter in this type of matchup.

Not in a million years is this the same. Joppy wasn't anywhere near the level of fighters that Hatton or Cotto were. Also, Tito struggled with Vargas, he got knocked down and was getting out boxed before his power was too much for Vargas in the 12th.

I see the point your trying to make but Pac has DEMOLISHED all of his opposition.

Not saying that it is the exact same case, just comparing the situations. Tito looked great during that run because he was going up against fighters that would trade with him, but was dominated when he fought a defensive/ counterpuncher. I am just saying I see this same situation with Manny right now. He has looked sharp because all of these guys wanted to go on the offensive to prove that they were the bigger man and that he was a lightweight. Manny hasn't fought a fighter to prepare him for what Floyd is going to bring. Point of the matter is styles make fights. He has done well against come forward/attack fighters, but lets see how he handles a defensive counterpuncher.
