i think a lot of it has to do with how a guy sets up for a ko. guys that go in there and throw hooks and bombs all day and don't have an effective jab and movement just dont get their opportunities. Many times people expect to see the big bomb throughing guys to pull off ko's and don't expect skilled boxers to punch a guys head off. So props to those guys that are skilled boxers and also to tyson who did it right. Not all the guys that think they are tyson, and don't.Comment

Jimmy Wilde probably is the best example of a scrawny guy who has deceptive power. However, once you get into the lower weights, almost everyone looks scrawny. Still, Wilde was barely a flyweight and knocked out some featherweights. Simply amazing considering the absolutely HUGE weight discrepancy.
Stanley Ketchel's physique wasn't too imposing, but had a mule kick for a punch.
Bob Foster was skinny yet rendered a large amount of opponent unconscious.
Though he had tremendously huge arms and shoulders, Fitzsimmons had twigs for legs.Comment

I have been watching Felix Trinidad all my life since I first got interested in boxing when I was maybe 6 years old. I remember watching him when I was a little kid when he was stil an up and commer on HBO take the title from Terry Norris. I have alot of faith in Trinidad, he can deal with jabs or whatever else. His comeback will be ferocious, he will conquer all opponents. Trinidad.. One of the best most exciting fighters in the last 20 years. Ranking among Hagler, Hearns, etc....Comment

I just remembered someone who had devastating power although he did not look too strong. Pipino Cuevas.Comment
