of course he doesnt deserve it more than say mosley. mosley fought the best welterweight in the world and ko'd him. mayweather fought marquez and hatton at welter what the hell? judah after he lost to baldomir? ok why? and baldomir who plain as day is a terrible fighter as you can see by his 12 losses and only notable win being judah who loses to everyone. beating the best doesn't get you fights anymore. being popular does.

lolololllolol...funny how you guys say that Mayweather ducks this guy and that guy...but now he WANTS TO FIGHT MANNY PAC, and now he doesn't "deserve" it. you dudes silly. Yall would prefer Shane cuz he is older and past prime, thats all it is and I was Shane fan BEFORE FLOYD MAYWEATHER. Get out of here with that.

$$$ wise a fight with Floyd makes a lot of sense. Deserving? Maybe, maybe not but this is what the fans wanted to see. I just want to see a good fight between offensive and defensive fighter get it on.

i actually want to see pac fight mayweather more than mosley but this thread is about who deserves to fight pac more and it's clearly mosley based on resume at welterweight. shane is the best welterweight right now and thus he should be entitled to the fight. floyd hasn't done squat lately.

Actually, the only thing floyd-Pacman makes sense in is in terms of Money!!But Pacman can still make millions fighting the winner of Mosley-Berto & unifying welterweight, which would further distance him from floyd!!If Mosley beat Berto & then Pacman beats him, believe me,that's a legacy that won't be topped for years!!

I respectfully disagree with you my friend. Pac and May is the BIGGEST fight in the sport and possibly in the history of the sport. Besides, why bring up the Mosley now that he has a fight with Berto? You feel me? If that was the case, they should have fought BEFORE Pac fought Cotto..you feel me?

this is how I see it, May beat JMM. Pac beat Cotto. All to set up their Megafight next year. There is TOO much money involved for EVERYONE involved in the fight. it will happen and boxing fans SHOULD BE HAPPY, THIS IS THE FIGHT THAT WE HAVE CALLED FOR.

LOL @ the thread started saying Floyd doesn't deserve a fight with Manny. Look I like both fighters, so I have no need to be biased to either one. They're both great!

With that said, Pac fought Cotto at a catchweight, not at 147. So lets not act like Pac is literally "cleaning out the division".

Mayweather and Pac both fought at catchweights in their last fight, so both deserve equal praise and criticism.

The obvious fight right now is Mayweather-Pac. There were moments when Mayweather was ranked #1 pound for pound and Manny Pac wasn't even in the top 10.

Perspective is the key word of the day.

i believe Boxing fans dont Owe Floyd mayweather anything. What has floyd gave us boxing fans that pacquiao, cotto, mosley, hopkins, etc. gave us throughout these ten years? All he has done is critize the sport for not liking him when he doesn't do anything for use to like him.
