          i read a study about this it's because there is more punches thrown in the smaller division compared to the bigger divisions. a straweight could throw more punches than a heavyweight. punches in the lower division don't look devastating. what does the damage is the accumulative punches for 12 rounds whereas in the heavyweight, a fight could end in the first round, minimizing accumulatibve punches for all 12 rounds. Better get KTFO than take a beating for all 12 rounds in other words.

            Thats it , power to weight ratio is high , speed is high , work rate is high , skill level is high , fitness is always high , small man syndrome makes for bad intentions , all adds up to tough all action fighters .
