Do people actually think that one can steal another fighter's legacy by beating him? That by beating him, you claim victory over all his accomplishments? lol nono. Hearns doesn't have a better legacy than Duran even if he knocked him out. Same story if Maywether beats Pacquiao.

That said, he gets a lot of respect should he get the win. Cements his place in history. The only problem is, that place would still be under Pacquiao. One great win does not make up for a career half riddled with disappointing opposition.
