i cant believe we have conned ourselves into thinking that a proven champion like mayweather is a paper champion. Name one time a paper champion sat at p4p number one for over 3 years. Sat at p4p number 2 for nearly 6 years.

People often talk about people following a wave of popularity while losing sight of reality. Nobody sits on a p4p list for the sake of it, especially for years at a time. Some of you really fit the flavor of the moment mold when it comes to how you view fighters.

Genaro Hernadez 38-1-1 was never beaten at 130 prior to Floyd

Angel Manfready 25-2-1 this fight was for fighter of the year in 1998

Carlos Rios 44-2-1 a step down in competition

            Justin Juuko 33-2-1 same level

Carlos Gerena 34-2 decent fighter was on a win streak and his last loss was to Genaro Hernadez

Gregario Vargas 40-6-1 Former 126 belt holder fought a bunch of quality guys and was on a winning streak goign into the bout.

Emmanuel Augustus 22-16-4 A damn good fighter for someone of that record

Diego Corrales 33-0 Do I need to explain this one?

Carlos Hernadez 33-2-1 a damn good fighter that went on to win a belt at 130 and have a damn good fight with Eric Morales

Jesus Chavez 35-1 another damn good fighter that went on to win belts in 2 classes also had a damn good fight with Eric Morales

Jose Luis Castillo 45-4-1 A very good close fight, JLC is one of the best lightweight of recent times

Jose Luis Castillo 45-5-1 Since the first fight was close, this fight put to rest any doubt about who was teh superior fighter.

Victoriano Sosa 35-2-2 A tough cat but some notches belowe his recent competiton

Philip N'dou 31-1 A knockout artist from Africa who was a chic pick to beat Floyd, was a damn good fight.

Demarcus Corley 28-2-1 A former belt holder at 140 who in hsi fight previous lost his strap to Zab in a very ugly but close fight, Floyd beat his ass despite eating a big punch

Henry Bruseles 21-2-1 An average fighter

Arturo Gatti 39-6 A twwo division belt holder and was on arguably on the best run of his career when he met up with Floyd

Sharmba Mitchell 56-4 Former 140 belt holder, was on the downside though when he met up with Floyd but he was not on empty

Zab Judah 34-3 Zab was the former undisputed champ at 147 and a belt holder at 140, he was comming off a loss but that made him desperate on fight night was probably one of the best versions of Zab to step foot in a ring.

Carlos Baldomir 43-9-6 The champ at 147, he was not all that great but he had been on a winning streak earned his chance at Zab and capitized on it.

Oscar De La Hoya 38-4 Oscar got everything for this fight including draggin FLoyd up to 154, Floyd won the fight pretty easily

Ricky Hatton 43-0 Champ at 140 and won a belt at 147 against a very good Luis Collazo.

Juan Maneul Marquez 50-4-1 Floyd got what he wanted in negotiations for this fight but was comming off a lay off and fought a great all eb it smaller Marquez, Floyd did what he was supposed to do more or less.

I don't believe I just took my time to break down Floyd's whole championship run for these cats, when I was doing it I was thinking about how I was wasting my time because they will just talk ****, but hey it is what it is.
