I think so clearly.. Cottos beatings vs Tony and Pac, were far worst than Vargas beatings vs Oscar and Tito.. Look at the state of Cottos face..
I feel for Cotto, he coulda been real good... Just like Vargas.. But I think Vargas was actually the goods and Cotto was always a little overrated.. Vargas would be Cottos ass in his prime at 147

Sucks when you don't avoid fighters like some boxers do... Then ppl have the nerves to say Cotto isn't a HOF'er. Fighters like Taylor, Cotto, are definitely HOF'ers. Cotto has time to even become an ATG, I don't like how ppl are just writing him off just yet... We'll see in 8 months what Cotto has left...

It does than fans don't give you credit it for it. sometimes its better to be like Mayweather and avoid fighters, but just don't proclaim yourself the best.
People seem to don't care about being shot. or others cheating. we should all break the rules and do whatever we want. but now its a little too late for Coto to start cherry picking.

Cotto would still kick Malignaggi, Hatton (PBF's toughest fight according to PBF), Marquez (who catapulted PBF back into the P4P ratings), etc. etc. etc.'s ass. Hence he is not shot. He just got beat, which happens when you consistently fight top competition.

Only in this day and age can a fighter be considered "shot" as a result of losing a fight he was an underdog in.

The man fought the best all through his career. If he is shot from that then thanks for the wars Cotto. Im sure he could still look young and fresh had he cherry picked easy fights, but the man wants to fight the best. Boxing needs more Cotto's.
