North Pole vs South Pole
I know everybody said before the pac vs cotto fight that it should be a 50/50 fight, but after the fight, obviously pac > cotto.
With that said, I believe the real 50/50 fight should be the pac vs mayweather fight. Forget about comparing pac's past fights or money may's past fights vs other fighters before because the fact is both of them have not faced the level of competition each one brings to the table skillwise right now and we will never be entirely sure about the skills they have now versus the versions of themselves before.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have the greatest offensive fighter vs the greatest defensive fighter of the decade and that's what matters, the north pole vs the south pole, the yes and the no, the truth and the false. Two great opposing fighters. I mean, the only fighter with the blueprint to beat floyd right now is the best offensive fighter out there and the only fighter who has the blueprint to beat pac, at the pace he's going right now, is the best defensive fighter. I honestly believe this is a real even fight. I don't know, I know there a lot of mix emotions and too much over analysis floating around, but I just think until these two fighters fight in the ring, all end results are just speculations.
Whatever the result may be though, if this fight favors the offensive and we get an exciting fight or the defensive and we get a tactical fight, I'm sure it will still be a great great fight. Now Arum, Schaefer, Haymon, Ellerbe, Pac, Roach, May, Mickey Mouse, Jesus Christ, and *****, please get your heads out of your asses for once and give us this sweet sweet fight so that on 2010, I could here the sweet voice of Michael Buffer shouting "LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE."
