    Pacquiao's Edge

i think the fact he doesn't have to boil down to make weight is one of the keys for his excellence. it must give him confidence knowing he isnt taking anything away from his body. while his opponents on the other hand are starving themselves to make weight.

making weight is difficult and can bring stresses on body and mind, paquiao avoids this and in my opinion this helps give him and edge over his opponents. he will know hes at his strongest while his opponents may have may have taken something away from themselves.

i think roach said a while ago that going down in weight is way overatted or something like that. does anyone thing paquiao could be setting a trend for how fighters will prepare themselves in the future?

Pac is just a beast. He looked strong as hell at WW. I thought his chin and strength at WW were gonna be his downfall. But he proved both.

I don't know if pacquiao can keep building up muscle like that eating 8000 calories a day. That's not normal. That's going to wear him down even more. He should go back down to a more natural weight, 140.
