Why is it so hard to believe that a fighter can get bigger while keeping his speed?

I mean if you follow other sports, there are tons of examples of athletes putting on 20-30lbs of muscle and still being as fast (in some cases faster) as they have ever been.

Lebron James 18 years old 6-8 220----23 years old 6-8 260. And lebron is faster, quicker and more athlete than he ever was, especially comparing him to his highschool/rookie year to how he is now. Also there are tons of example of some of the most athletic nba players ever jumping 20+ pounds without losing a step.

NFL players do it all the time also. You'll see rookies put on 10-15lbs(to take the physical punishment from week to week) of muscle and still be as athletic as ever.

even trackstars put on weight to be stronger runners.

I follow ever sport and see it all the time. Pac really hasnt put on as much weight, but rather has stopped trying to drain himself to get into lower weight classes. I also believe he has just gotta naturally bigger due to age if anything. Not to long ago Shane was making 135 easily and his body (due to age) has allowed him to go all the way to 154 without losing any speed (During the time he was fighting their).

Nas looks soft, he needs a new conditioning coach to lose the extra pounds and turn that soft skin into hard muscle.

i think manny is such a rarity because of the steep climb being made at a relatively late stage in his career and boxing life. putting on weight like he has while maintaining full speed and effectiveness at age 29 is no mean feat

i do not have reason to believe he is using illegal performance enhancers above any other top quality boxer though

Another thing is I think people fail to realize how the human body develops. From 25-34 you are in your physical prime. Before 25 your body is still growing and developing. So seeing how pac was already at 126...going up to 140 is not that big of a deal.

Im pretty sure floyd was under 126 before he was 19 and could have been as small as 106-112 at the age of 16. So for pac to be that small at a young age is not outta the norm. All boxers are real light as teens, its just they are in the amateurs and not pros yet.

I feel what you're trying to say but the guys you mentioned were either rookies or highschoolers that come into there bodies. Pac is and has been a grown man, I see where people say he may be using. Look at the stats of all the guys like bonds and Mac, they bloew the numbers outta the water in their 30s, and we learned why. Its not impossable for pac to be on something, I hope hes not but its not impossable.
Look at who Ariza is connected to, its a lil too close for comfort if you ask me. The guy Ariza is connected to is the same guy thats been banned from ever training again, connected to BALCO and now hes hooked into Pacs camp?
I think boxing should do more to test and more freq also. Pac trains in another country, im sure they arent monitoring him while hes there. And by the tuime he gets here hes off his cycle and the test they run only goes back 48hrs. so it is possable but for the sake of the sport i hope hes not
