It's really sad how a mans accomplishments over 8 years can be dismissed so easily and without any heart. I almost had tears in my eyes watching Cotto get beat down last night, like seeing a friend in distress. Yeah, it might sound like a soft thing to say, I don't care, I never wanted to be a macho man, but I can't help but feel like that.

Cotto deserves all the respect in the world. He is one who truly gives his all in the ring despite the odds being stacked against him, he's a a badass, a warrior, but at heart he is a great man. Everything you could ask for in a prizefighter.

All I hope for is that he can bounce back. Whether he can or not, I'm not sure. He gets massive respect from me.
