I have been saying this for the past few years. Cotto is overrated. He was never an P4P fighter. Every time he fought a good fighter he got beat even when he won. In the judah fight he was beat, if it was not for the low blows, he would have been KO'd in the 1st round. Clotty beat him, Margarita beat him. He wanted to quit last night in the 3 round, I could see it in his eyes. Now that he has been exposed i guess everyone who wanted him to beat Mayweather will now jump on PACMANS wagon. Its cool, but once again your gonna get disappointed when he meets PBF in the ring. Mayweather by TKO in the 11 round. Mark my words baby!!

NO, he just face an ATG fighter, thats why i'm not interested of him facing mayweather his too much of threat for his 0 record. I want mayweather to face other fighter that he could beat so that he could retire undefeated.

Cotto is an elite WW. He just lost to a better fighter but you can not ignore what he has done prior to that.

I used to think Pac was overrated , but after last night I see the man truely is gifted by defeating a warrior like Cotto the way he did. Gayweather don't want it from this man, he will probably retire again before facing a real opponent.

Agreed...I hardly ever, ever red k anybody, but this TS deserved it. Cotto could have come in heavier and Manny still would have beaten him. I am still in awe at what i saw last night. Manny is a wonder to behold. I am still a proud Cotto fan.

Yeah, Cotto got exposed alright. He got exposed as a great fighter who got outfought by another fighter who just happens to be acknowledged by boxing experts as among the ALL TIME GREATS OF BOXING. A fighter who also outfought Hall of Fame caliber or at least world champion fighters in 6 other weight divisions.

If anything, that fight showed that Cotto lacked a fight plan good enough to counter Roach's -- something only a master trainer could have given him. He got outfought, tried to adjust but lacked the thorough planning necessary to counter Pac's game.

Never in the fight with Pac did Cotto show a lack in skill, nor heart. And what he did after the fight, going to Pac and giving the guy due credit with all that blood still on his face, that right there showed how classy MAC truly is.

Clearly, he doesn't deserve the hate.
