    no more excuses

honestly guys, its not even been 24 hours after "firepower" and im already seeing threads of WHY Cotto lost. Im a cotto fan i will not lie i believed he would walk through pac in this fight, if pac decided to trade miquel would dominate him. Not only did Pacquiao stand their and trade, he called for the trades. He was the one stalking cotto and beating him to a pulp.

Cotto was not weight drained, Pacquaio did not load his gloves, Cotto did not break his hands before the fight or catch some illness NO he went in their in the best condition ive ever seen him in and he got the **** beatin outta him. If anything this fight has simply made me a pac fan as he has shown that he belongs next to names such as Hagler and Duran.

Cotto fought his fight but manny took everything and kept on coming, he wore miquel down, his speed was to much for him, his ability to take a punch shocked the world and his power was evident as he dropped cotto like what? 3 or 4 times? Both fighters deserve praise for even taking the fight, cotto could have made many excuses "pac is to small, im not mayweather i dont fight the smaller fighters (no hate to mayweather here) no the catchweight wont work 147 is what it must be" cotto did not fail the weigh in he worked his ass off and made 145 as agreed and Manny did his job to the best of his ability.

Pacquaio earned my respect last night, he went in under much critizism "oh his last 3 opponents were punching bags/weight drained/defenseless theres no way cotto will be outclassed like the last 3" but guess what happened...

Either way congratulations to Manny for winning and my prayers that Cotto's recovery go's smoothly.

    Wrong..

If they were to trade.. Manny would've still won.

Inside Cotto didn't do anything.. Because Manny is to fast. Manny barely throws uppercuts! and he landed all that he threw! and even dropped Cotto with one.

Cotto needs a real trainer. He knows this, and should think VERY hard about it. Cause Cotto is not the same fighter anymore.

Manny Pacman is one of my favorites as well. I didn't like the fight since the start, but it had to happen. I'm happy for Manny and he created history and I'm glad that I was a part of watching it.

Those who never respected Pacman since then... I don't know what to say.. The guy is a great fighter and fun to watch.. GREAT for the sport. Greatest of all time.
