You're delusional man, if you were to put Hatton in the ring with Judah, Mosley, Margarito and Clottey Hatton would have lost them all by KO. We already saw what Manny did to that ass. Cotto wouldn't put a Manny on him but they are nowhere near on the same level.

I think Cotto shouldn't fight till 2011 at least, he's fighting at a just grueling pace and he may be the next big name fighter to get Parkinsons. He just made about 10 million dollars... that should be more than enough to live off of for a year, regroup his entire crew (except his conditioning coach and cutman) and then set up a Marg rematch with a fresh body. In 3 years he's fought Judah, Mosley, Margarito, Clottey and now Manny and each of those fights were brutal wars. A 6 or 7 month layoff is nowhere near the time he needs to heal because he'll be in training for two of those months.

Cotto needs a tune up bout before fighting the top 5 WW. A hatton fight will be an excellent fight for Cotto.

I agree, but not right now he badly needs to let his body heal. IDK if the Marg fight permanently turned Cotto's face into Gatti's clay face reborn, but another fighter in 6 months isn't going to help get any better. Gatti had surgery to help repair the cartilage and it helped immensely with the swelling, Cotto should think of doing the same thing before it gets worse.

If Cotto doesn't stop Hatton within 5 rounds (he can't) than he will be running from Ricky's pressure like he's done in every tough fight.

Styles make fights though. Cotto ran (didn't even try to win) from Pac once he tasted Pac's power while Ricky went toe to toe. Hatton KO and dominated Malignaggi the entire fight while Cotto struggled with Paulie, styles make fights. Hatton versus Cotto is a toss up fight.

cotto won ONE. round 1 which was a feel out round.

maybe give cotto 2 rounds all night if you want to be real generous.
