    In this vid even Roach agrees with me that it was a dumb move by PAC

    to stay on the ropes and allow Cotto to **** him. I still don't understand PAC's reasoning though, for allowing Cotto **** him. The whole plan was to stay off the ropes, and he did just the opposite?

    Why even feel out Cotto's power, when you can just evade it?

    it was psychological once Cotto knew he couldn't hurt Pac mentally he was beaten aswell

      To answer the critics maybe? He's been breezing through his last fights and before the Cotto fight all we heard was "Pac still hasn't been tested. We still don't know if he can take a true welterweight punch."

      Then again maybe he had to answer the same questions for himself?

          Because like most fighters--they have egos. pacquiao wanted to prove he was durable by standing next to the ropes.

            Pac could've won the fight easier, but he wanted to prove to cotto that he couldn't hurt pac.
