Floyd's hands will definetely be put to the test in this one.
If he can't get that respect it will be like trying to hold back a typhoon with a spoon. Even if Floyd is so good that he can use that spoon to somehow make sure most of the water is going to miss him. But - he's still going to damp.
(see, literally anyone can come up with a Teddy Atlas-ism)
You just need some kind of reference to someone somewhere getting wet or at the very least getting hit by traffic. I've got to stop playing so much fight night.

Cotto is a left hander that fights orthodox which is a nightmare for a Southpaw, Floyd rely's on reflexes and fighting at his pace and bluntly Pac is to fast to rely on reflexes and will dictate the pace.

That said, I just can't bet against Mayweather. He finds a way to make that ring the safest place in the world for himself. It's what he does. I'd say Manny will have to reign himself in from getting to wreckless once he starts seeing combinations swatted away. Mayweather will also have to throw more punches than he has been and punch with real authority. Or at the very least Manny will drown him in flurries.

smart man.
great analysis. manny loses, but he'll take floyd outta his comfort zone, and actually make floyd "fight," like nobody else has been able to do.
i hope so.
bro, it's not always the "power" of a punch that does the damage. speed kills. a punch that you don't see coming can turn your lights out too...ask cotto. do you really think manny hits harder than margarito and mosley??? they hit cotto with bombs, and one of them most likely had their gloves loaded, yet and still, neither guy was able to knock cotto off his feet. little manny knocked cotto down twice, within 5 rounds...the punches you don't see........
