I thought his underrated boxing skill would be enough to nullify Pacman's offense and then eventually break him down...... How wrong was I.
He started well with his jab but Pac managed to overwhelmed him with his speed and power whenever they exchanged. After the 6th round Cotto didn't want it with Pac and rightly so. Because whenever Pac chose to turn up the heat he would prevail, the pace he set was too much for Cotto in the end.
Still, there's no shame in losing to the pound for pound king, I think he has a bit more left in the tank to move on with his career if he chooses to. He's talented and far from a bum, a change of trainer would help also.
