After the demolition job on Cotto 50 50 split is very generous. Right now Manny is the draw. People are getting fed up with Mayweather cherry picking his fights . You can do that for a while but you have to slip in meaningful fights to keep that game going. Mayweather at one point had the edge but he is not an active fighter and that may well show when and if these 2 meet.

Manny is the draw now,and Floyd needs to take what he can get. If he doesnt take this fight because of money,then he will be a laughing stock(much more than he is at the moment) and everything he has achieved in his career will be tarnished beyond repair.

He needs to suck it up,take the 35-40 percent he deserves,and signed the contract. If he fights anybody else he is an even bigger joke than he has already become.
