Kenny Bayless Made The Perfect Stoppage No Question (12th Round Punch Stats)

Check the punch stats for the 12th round:

Pacquaio Landed 13 out of 26 Thrown
Cotto Landed 0 (Zero) out of 7 Thrown

Pacquaio Landed 2 out of 7 Jabs and 11 out of 19 Power Punches

Cotto Landed 0 out of 6 Jabs and 0 out of 1 Power Punches

Cotto was effectively a sitting duck in the last round. Kenny Bayless was acutely aware of that fact, he saw Cotto had nothing left, landing no punches at all, and could have been severely injured. No question Bayless made the perfect stoppage, not only from watching the round, but it's backed up by the stats.

Bayless shouldn't have had to stop the fight in the first place, the corner should've done it at least 2 rounds prior.

Cotto's corner let him take a lot of unnecessary punishment. If Miguel is to continue fighting he has to fire his trainer.

They should have stopped it much earlier man, they sent Cotto out in the last 3 or so rounds like a lamb to the slaughter.
