My opinion on Pac-Mayweather being made

Personally, i don't think Manny should go after this fight. First of all he is already P4P No. 1 by a country mile and his resume is amazing as it is. Quite simply, he does not need Floyd Mayweather at all, his legacy is already set.

Floyd Mayweather has to go after this fight, if he wants it, fair enough. If he doesn't go after it and makes excuses then we know he doesn't want none of Pacquiao and is just purely about money. He has to fight Pacquiao and if he really cares about greatness and wants to prove himself he will take a 50/50 split, maybe even 60/40 in favour of Pac because he has all the negotiating power right now being P4P No. 1 and having a Welterweight title.

Also, my opinion is that Mayweather will beat Pacquiao by decision in a fairly boring fight. Pac likes to fight action fights, Mayweather does not and will use the ring and stay away from Pac. He is also faster than Manny and has shown great skills in adapting to any style. Manny didn't like chasing Cotto round in the 2nd half of their fight and looked quite pissed off about it. Mayweather will do that for the whole fight and pot shot.

I can't make my mind up on whether i want to see this fight or not, obviously the hype would be insane beforehand, but when it comes down to the fighting i don't want it to be another Mayweather-DLH borefest.

Also, i think Mayweather will wait for the Berto-Mosley winner and see what happens there before any fights get made. Though i expect to hear some trash talking from Mayweather about his win over Cotto or how he beat Marquez who argueably beat Pac twice in the next few days.

There's a lot of money in this fight, it's the biggest in boxing and it's hard to see Mayweather not wanting that cash. But at the same time does he want to risk everything against a fighter who is very much in form?

    Who knows.
