After taking the best shots from Porter Pac knew he had nothing to worry about from Cotto. You could see Cotto's confidence fade to zero when in the 4th round Pacquiao just stood there at the ropes letting Cotto bomb away at him while taunting him and proceeding to knock him down for the second time just seconds later.

agreed roach had manny sparring with guys like porter and it really had manny prepared for cottos power. if pac had been sparring with pushovers i think he would have been surprised with miguels punch but instead he got that shock the first couple days in sparring which had him ready for the fight. . much respect to roach for a great gameplan and a great choice of sparring partners to prepare pac for this fight. hopefully cotto if he continues to fight at the top of boxing can find a trainer like roach

we saw manny up on the ropes getting beat by shawn..

i guess he really WAS supposed to get beat up, and it was part of the gameplan after all

Despite Roach being a twat (though he's just hyping fights imo), he's actually a damn smart trainer.

I was surprised at Manny chin, Mannys chin is mainly the reason I was banking on a Cotto win.

I wasn't worried about his chin, but i had doubts about how he would handle Miguel's body punches, especially if he got him on the ropes which he did a couple of times.

I knew they'd have no effect, and kept pushing that point. Thanks to everyone who called me a ******! Everything I posted over the last few months was absolutely on ****ing point, from Manny easily being able to deal with Porter, Manny hitting harder than Margarito, Cotto being completely unable to time Manny, and a ****load of other things that I cant be bothered to type out because it would take me a week.
