Cotto looked so strong in the early rounds. Much better than he did against Clottey. He was mixing it to the body and head with more authority and speed. After the first round and even that first stiff jab by Cotto I was thinking "This is going to be a long night for Pac".
However, you could see the quick Pac right come in to play to disrupt Cotto's jab and then it's all downhill from there.Comment

True, but the TS has a valid point.
Go back and listen and you will hear Lampley saying ridiculous things early such as Miguel Cotto's hand speed is as fast as Manny Pacquiao's. Later, after the whole world can see Manny cruising to victory, Lampley starts to say how much blazingly faster Pacquiao is than Cotto. Larry Merchant was actually the best of the three amigos last night and I am usually very critical of Merchant.Comment

Cotto did come out strong, but it was funny how everything Cotto landed he would say "what a shot" even if Pac just took it and smiled.Comment

lol, I couldn't hear any commentatary at all with the screaming in the house, but watching the Margarito fight was disgusting by Lampley. All I heard nonstop was praises for Cotto with the occasional one point in a round he'll say something about Margarito's punches. It just became a headache in that one. Anyone know how Sky was? I want to watch that version also to get a different perspective.Comment
