Hatton could be his next fight. After the Margarito loss he went for an easy fight with Jennings. Manny has beaten both Hatton and Cotto both are in the same boat.

Yea... i see your point. Margarito is a High-risk, but high reward type of matchup.... but revenue wise, it makes sense financially. But a win over margarito might bring back the cotto of 'old'......

You guys are crazy thinking he should take on these tough guys like Marg or SSM next.....he needs an easier fight to get some confidence back.....a good boxer with little pop.

                  Wasn't that the Jennings fight?

I think he should take some time out. Check the bank balance and ask himself what more he can achieve.

Wasn't that before last night? but your right Cotto needs to do some serious thinking about his future and if he wants it to be in the ring. No one should set foot in there if they are not 100% committed.

I think him and Hatton would make for a good fight for us fans, they're both on the losing side to the elite now, and maybe the winner could set up a re match with the winner of May vs Pac, just for money sake and the 'what if' factor.
