Usually that type of **** is reserved for 60+ year old blowhards like Bert Sugar.

He's definitely top 20-25 material, for sure, though.

Brian Kenny said that Bert Sugar had Pacquiao in the top 15 on ESPN not long after the post fight conference.

Pac has always been in the shadow of Floyd on the p4p list, until recently.
You have to put him above roy jones..Mayweather, and up there or over Leonard and Duran. He has beaten Barrera, Morales 2 out of 3 fights, stopped hatton, dlh, and Cotto.. a pretty damm near peak Cotto would actuallly should be considered undefeated... Hatton had never been bested at 140 and brutally stopped in 2. He owns 2 wins regardless of how controversial they are, over JMM. All fighters have some controversial gifts on their resume.

So with that being said, and the fact that he started at 106, and is stopping top fighters at welter, come on. He has to be rated well above Mayweather, Jones, and i could debate both ways his ranking vs Leonard. Only reason I debate the leonard is Ray victories were vs hearns, duran, benetiz, Hagler, and he did move up to beat Hagler, and then stopped lalond at a catch weight and light heavy, and stopped unbeated at the time, never been knocked down kalule. It is a very very good comparison him a SRL, but Roy Jones and Mayweather, he ranks above them.

I am not knowledgeable enough about the old timers to accurately ranking him against anyone who ever fought but he is greater legacy wise than any fighter of the last 15 years that is for absolute certain in my mind.

I agree btw with 20-25 for Pacman.

I don't keep a list but he has to be up there with the best.
He's the greatest fighter i've ever been able to see live.

I would have said about top 30 or something like that before last night, but the way he obliterated Cotto elevates him into the top 20 easy.

In terms of achievements and opposition faced coupled with the impact he has had beyond the sport, then yes I would. That said,Roy in his prime is my favourite fighter of all time to watch. Things change over time. Whilst Floyd has had 2 fights in 3 years against much smaller opponents,Manny has been busy ripping through weight classes and he seems to be improving with every outing, which is quite some achievement.
