i remember he would put his hands up and just stand there for some reason, then he went to the ropes and again just leaned against them letting cotto wail on him

really scared me cuz sometimes cotto would get in a bomb, but most of all he was scoring points
got some jones-calzaghe flashbacks

Yeah I didn't like that shell mode. Pac is like Roy Jones when covering up, he can't throw anything.

But clearly after the fight Pac said he did that to taste Cotto's power. Sounds like a very risky idea.

Well,I remember Pac slowing down like that early on after Cotto would tag him a good one. I think some of those punches effected Pac early one and that's when he would stand there most of the time. I've only seen the fight once though.

game plan for sure.. Let Cotto hits him in side and Manny will be throwing uppercuts to Cotto.. try watching it again. But the last time he did that Miguel wasn't throwing to the body he threw an uppercut that hit Manny..

Manny was smart. He allowed Miguel to gain confidence to throw shots, because when he did, he made mistakes, which Manny could capitalize on.
