The greatest fighter of this generation is the winner of a Pac vs Mayweather fight! These last 3 fighters Pac has faced have been questionable and definitely past their respected primes. There will always be questions about the these past 3 fighters he's faced but there will be no questions about Floyd. Floyd is at the top of his game right now and in the opinion of many, will beat Pac easily in a decision. Calling Pac the greatest fighter pound for pound of this generation is premature, but calling him the most exciting fighter since Tyson, isn't.

Floyd isnt even close. the main difference between Floyd and Manny is that Floyd is becoming associated with taking the easiest route to the most money for the minimum risk,whereas Pac's name is associated with constantly seeking out the biggest challenges for the biggest reward. Put it like this,Floyd has been too inactive amd his last two fights have been against much smaller men,and this has taken him 3 effing years!

The whispers about Floyd ducking fighters and taking the easy route have been around for over five years and are now at the point where people just know him for that sort of thing,rightly or wrongly. You dont get that sort of thing with Pacquiao,and thats the difference.

True. I have been watching boxing for over 25 years,and I cannot put any of the fighters that have been at the top during that time above him.

completely agree as long as we're talking about the 00 generation... the generation before this (90's) was Roy, period. But i completely agree... especially at this very moment, Manny is the greatest.
