That would make him a 5 DIVISION LINEAR CHAMP. Damn, you might be on to something.

    Floyd for money?

    Or Shane/Berto for history?

    Im sorry but...

Beating Mayweather is more valuable to Mannys legacy than winning the other belts @ WW....

No matter what your opinion of the ****y prick is, that much remains true.

He's the only man out there that is a threat to pacquiao, and vice versa.

The entire world wants to see it. This **** could be bigger than Oscar/Floyd, if promoted properly.
If the world is wanting this fight (Floyd/Manny) that is one thing...but to say that Floyd "deserves" a shot over Mosley or Berto is something totally different...Last 2 Yrs....Floyd = JMM, Hatton, DLH. We know what Pac did to all 3.....Shane = Margarito, Mayorga, Cotto.....Nuff said about that....Berto = Urango, Collazo, Forbes...yeah...ok Floyd trumps that....

So if anything...Shane DESERVES that shot at Pacquiao....after Pac fights Shane....win or lose....then fight Floyd....or after that war...Shane might be "old" enough that Floyd will decide to fight Shane afterall...

I would rather see Floyd fight the winner of Berto-Mosley myself. Let Floyd make peanuts fighting someone else. And Bringer just said that Mayweather deserves this fight more than Mosley does? No way. I know Floyd brings more money to the table than Mosley. But if Pacquiao were to beat Shane, that would make Floyd have to take peanuts for the fight.

And as much as I've criticized Mosley for not doing a damn thing after his win over Margarito, Mayweather is just wasted ***** compared to Shane right now because beating Margarito by devestating KO is a hell of a lot more meaningful than decisioning JMM while making him move up two divisions and cheat the weigh in.

To me....beating Mayweather is a huge payday....you can't say that it would do much for his legacy as people are already knocking Floyd for him avoiding Elite WWs....we (myself included) base Mayweather's greatness on his talent and his talent alone (for the last 5 years anyway)....as he has constantly sough out easy paydays over "legacy" fights....

Pac fighting Cotto (before Floyd has even stepped in the ring with a legit WW) shows the heart of a true champion, and along with that..HIS biggest paydays. If Pac fights the fighters that Floyd has had excuses for not fighting, but the public recognizes as fighters that Floyd should be fighting (Mosely, Cotto) then what kind of legacy will Pac have other than fighting for money against Floyd....its already been established who the #1 p4p fighter is...and who the #2 is....and this isn't 5 yrs ago....

You guys are jokes...the world wants to see this fight but know it about not giving Mayweather his payday. The money this fight would generate is massive...you can bet your silly brains that this fight is going to happen.

So we are jokes for even considering fights for REAL LEGACY over money? There is nothing wrong fighting for money....and I would gladly shell out another $54.95 for a Floyd/ Manny fight.....BUT...I will gladly shell out even up to $100.00 to watch a unification bout between Mosley/Manny.....what's so funny about that? (Ok...maybe $100 for the fight is a lil much)

Mayweather vs Pacquiao might happen but for sure it will be on Manny's terms not Floyds. Pac is the best right now and if Floyd doesn't respect that Manny will just go to someone who will ... the winner of Berto/Mosley. In short Pacquiao doesn't need to play Floyd Mayweathers bull**** games. If Money May wants to fight he signs the contract given if he doesn't Pacquiao will collect the rest of the belts in the division. Simple as that.

I understand the rest of the world is begging for this fight...I am not saying I would not want this fight either.....but the option I am speaking about is not about the money aspect....it is about the Legacy aspect. Manny beat Cotto...of course the questions will come up..."Cotto was never the same after Margarito"...."Cotto was drianed at 145".....all BS....so Manny should pick up the other belts....for SIMILAR money....and still add to his status. Floyd is in the game only for money.....that much is very clear. If Floyd really wants to fight Manny....50/50 or nothing.....like I said earlier...Manny = #1 fighter....Floyd = #2 fighter....why should #1 bow to #2 / Call out #2? He shouldn't....plain and simple.

Explain to me what it is about boxing I don't know or understand. I've stated my reasons for this thread....explain your statement.
