I think 3K is a brand name of a battery and they sponsor some asian boxers. As a result, the fights nickname themselves 3K batter. There are actually quite a few boxers with that nickname.

Seems to be a Thai thing. It's a gym they train at and will use that as their name/title. Some type of honor thing. I got confused too.....I think 3K is some sponsor.

3k Battery is the gym name. Boxers in some asian countries take the name of their gym. Like someone else said, its an honor thing.

Pacquaio did not fight the GOOD 3k Battery guy that you read about. He fought another guy from that gym. I've never seen the Yodsanan (spelling?) or whatever, but I think he'll be shown here soon and I'd want to see him. Also want to see that Pongskak Wanjankam (sp?). They both get lots of press on FN and other sites.
